Steve & Jemma Morgan   Nikki Carter
Steve is our Rector and has been part of St Martin's parish since May 2017.  Steve worked in the Christian outdoor industry before being ordained and has spent a lot of time at sea in Tall Ships and the Royal Navy.  He likes building boats, running and good food. As a test of faith he supports Portsmouth FC.

Jemma is always kept on her toes with their four sons as well as regularly running her junk food cafe, Café Abundance in Liskeard, Looe and Torpoint as well as other venues on the Rame Peninsula.
As Parish Secretary, Nikki is your first point of contact when you visit or call the office. Our resident fount of knowledge, Nikki has a wide-ranging experience of all church matters and will normally respond quickly and cheerfully to most requests and if she can't answer your query she can point you towards someone who does!

As Children's Pastoral Worker, Jane is involved in all aspects of children's work at st Martin's, from visiting families interested in having their children baptised, right through to running youth groups for those children transitioning into their teenage years and also working with primary schools.

As a qualified primary school teacher, Jane grew up in Truro and, after living in various parts of the UK, New Zealand and the Netherlands, returned to Cornwall in 2000.  Married to Simon, she is a busy mum who, when not working with the church is usually running around after her 3 children!

Having attended St Martin's since 2000, Jane decided to leave her job as a teacher and make the exciting move of joining the team at St Martin's in 2016.

Pete Morgan   Clare Bevan
Pete and Rosie Morgan have lived and worked in South-East Cornwall all their married lives, which is a long time!  Pete was a secondary school teacher, but Rosie opted for teaching in primary schools (she was marginally taller than her pupils).

They've pretty much always been involved with working with youth groups; at present they help out with the teens on Sundays and the tinies at ABC on Tuesdays.  They love kids of all ages.
Clare is a local business woman and entrepreneur.  She has a heart for the youth and has been working in this ministry for over 20 Years.  She presently heads up the youth Alpha and a weekly Christian Union club at the comprehensive school.

Clare has lots of enthusiasm, motivation and vision and is always looking for new ways to encourage and engage the young people in Liskeard.
