Have you got children that you would like to bring to church? We run a specific programme just for children and youth! We are passionate about them finding out who Jesus is and their identity in Him.
On Sunday mornings we run children's groups during the 11am service. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we sing songs together and then the service leader will announce when the children need to go to their programme - this is usually after the second song. The children are encouraged to follow their leaders out to their groups which take place in the Upper Church Hall and are split out according to age as follows:
Creche facility (up to 3 years) - this is within the Church so that parents can stay and participate in the service
Bible Tots (4–7 years)
Bible Explorers (8–11 years)
Youth Group (12-18)
You are welcome to go with your children the first time they attend and until they settle in.
We are delighted to partner with Mustard Seeds in using their teaching material for our children's groups on Sundays and each session provides a gentle but fun and interactive introduction to who God is.
During the week we run a Youth Club for older children on Monday evenings (term time only) from 6pm to 7.30pm. The group meets in the Cellars and is open to any young person from year 5 and above. We have a great music facility for anyone interested in playing instruments and singing as well as a pool table, football table, television, wii and various games and crafts. We also have the use of a large hall and, when the weather is good, an outdoor area.
Our aim is to make sure every child can be themselves in a safe and welcoming environment. Our Children & Families Worker, Jane Asquith heads up our youth and children's workers who are DBS checked and have received safeguarding training.
We want the kids to have great fun whilst learning more about Jesus and meeting with Him.
