The Acting Bishop of Truro, the Rt Revd Hugh Nelson is pleased to announce that the Revd Mark Wade, at present Team Vicar in the Benefice of Wigan in the Diocese of Liverpool is to be Vicar/Oversight Minister in the Benefice of Liskeard and St Keyne in the Diocese of Truro. This is conditional on legal formalities being completed.
This a Simeons appointment as Patron and he will be licensed at a place and on a date to be arranged.
Mark would like to share the following message:
“We are all very excited to be coming back home to Cornwall for Mark after growing up in west Cornwall my dad was a Vicar in a number of different places across the diocese. I left Cornwall 20 years ago so looking forward to coming back and see if I can still surf too! We are looking forward to working across the Benefice and the deanery in this new exciting role. I am looking forward to serving and getting to know you all. We hoping to move at the end of August so Izzy, Asa and Imogen can start School in September. Please do pray as we finish well in Wigan and prepare for this new season in ministry.
God bless
Mark, Toni, Izzy, Asa and Imogen.”
