Introducing….. Car Park Christingle!!! Some of you will remember Car Park Carols from the last two Christmases. Well, it’s back – but bigger! This year, we will be including an outdoor Christingle element as part of it, as well as a cafe (proceeds to go to Foodbank) and activities for all to enjoy – hopefully including a bouncy castle kindly provided by the brilliant Lighthouse Community Centre(weather dependant of course!). And of course, carols! We’ll have the amazing Liskeard Silver Band playing traditional carols, and a band leading us in contemporary versions too.
As well as all this we’ll also have a Liskeard Foodbank, Christians Against Poverty UK and the Lighthouse Community Centre CIC there to inform people of the much-needed help and services they are providing in our community in these challenging times. A huge thank you to them all for being involved.
Another huge THANK YOU must go to Liskeard Town Council, who have given us a grant to help with costs of the event and are, as ever, incredibly supportive of the community coming together!
And last but not least, we must thank Liskeard School & Community College for allowing us to use their facilities – they have been incredibly accommodating and supportive.
