On Saturday 25th March, we welcomed over 350 ladies from across the South west into our church to hear from Lou Fellingham, Elle Limebear and Cathy Madavan.

We were so excited to host this conference, and were so expectant that God would meet with the ladies attending.

The worship by Elle and Lou was so powerful and uplifting …we really felt as though the dust was being shaken from the rafters (and from ourselves!).

Lou spoke to us about letting go of feelings of shame. She pointed out that when Adam and Eve experienced feelings of shame in their nakedness in the Garden of Eden, God provided clothes for them. He cared for them even though they had sinned.

Cathy Madavan spoke to us about using the gifts that God gives each of us to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace. It was a wonderful and much-needed reminder that God provides exactly what we need, and we can take those gifts and use them for His Glory. Cathy reminded us that God wants to make a difference THROUGH us. She said “God has not brought you this far to only bring you this far.”

After lunch, we had the privilage of being led in worship by Emma Pears (Lou’s sister) as she got all of the ladies singing in harmony together…it was SO much fun, and had everyone giggling!

Overall, the Made for You conference was a special and encouraging time of wonderful teaching, heartfelt worship and coming before God together to sing His praises!
